Once upon a time in a land far, far away, there lived a lonely prince.
Yes, it was a prince, not a princess.
He was locked away in the east tower after the King caught him in the broom closet with the wet nurse sucking milk from her breasts as he had done as an infant. She was sitting on a bucket used for mop water, and he was on his knees between her spread legs, licking her nipples feverishly.
The King was infuriated, for the wet nurse had been straddling his lap for years since the Queen died. He demanded an answer.
“Yours are hard, chapped lips of a man of power and old age. Between his tender lips, my breasts melt like chocolate.”
The prince continued drinking as she spoke.
“How dare you make a fool of me!” The King had the wet nurse beheaded and her body thrown into the river, turning the water blood red.

This is in response to Mondays Finish the Story: a flash fiction challenge where we provide you with a new photo each week, and the first sentence of a story. Your challenge is to finish the story using 100-150 words, not including the sentence provided.

That’s a rather sudden end to something that was I am sure a pleasant experience for them both…..well done Nortina

Creamy delicious writing Nortina ~ What was in that milk? Certainly provoked a reaction from the jealous King ~ 🙂

Not that I’ve read any of the other stories yet, but I’d bet yours is the most original take on the prompt!
I just read your story on Cease, Cows. Liked it a lot 🙂

Loneliness can cause people to do strange things (exhibit A in your story, which is fantastic!).

Wow, quite a graphic tale! I wonder if the king’s ever going to let the prince out after such betrayal?

One would hope he’d get over it. She’s just the maid. But I bet the king’s too proud to do that. Thanks for reading!

Loved your story Nortina! I wonder, was the Prince still attached to her nipple as she was beheaded? Hmmm…What happens to him? Maybe a future post? Thanks for your continuing participation in the MFtS challenge! See you next week? Hope so! Be well… ^..^

Thanks! Hmm, there may be a follow up post. That image of him still sucking her nipple while she’s getting her head chopped off is quite graphic btw!
